Its been a while

I have been uber swamped lately and this blog has yet to make it to the top of my list in things I need to get done. But I did have some time to upload and post to day so with out further delay.......PHOTOS!! Aight boy listen up up first we got may nigga scuba egg. strait from the deep blue he is rising up just like dat zombie jesus to say "yo..im scuba egg"

WAR SCARF

The top is a photograph of a scarf my girlfriend made. She makes a lot of scarves. I mean a lot. Our dishwasher is currently used to store yarn. We are thinking about selling on Etsy but we are not sure yet. The photograph is some trash on the side of the road I saw today.

I watched War Photographer today and I must say that is a great way to not only get very sad but feel like a shitty photographer. I def recommend it to any one that is into photography or documentaries. 

The first photograph My girlfriend took of our friend's pet H. Hog. She took it a few days ago. I am just now taking a look at it and realizing how much I like it. The one below it is me being a fucking loser taking photos of my self like Ninja from Die Antwoord. Petty much the lamest thing I could do.

 

The first photograph is of a church in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago. The second photograph is some thing I saw in the meat packing district of Chicago. It has be rather hard to keep up with the blog as of late. I have way to much going one. school, two jobs, volunteer photography, and im sure I have more stuff that makes me seem more important and way more busy than I actually am. I need a book on Mary Ellen Mark to write a paper on dat bitch. 

Wedding

I photographed a wedding today for my internship with Colin Lyons Photography. I was actually surprised with how much fun I had shooting. I think in this shot I actually got my bosses flash which is crazy to think about. I don't remember what the shutter speed was but thats like a very small fraction of a second to take a photograph at the exact same time. cray cray.

My card got corrupted so not only was I not able to upload any photos on to the blog. I also lost everything that I shot. Luckily there was not anything to important but it just sucks that that happened. At any rate, do I have a funny story for you! So I needed to get a suit jacket today for the wedding I am photographing tomorrow. I decided to check TJ Maxx/filene's basement assuming It would be cheaper. So I walk in the store and I think to my self "well gosh! Why is it so humid in here?" Once I got to the bottom of the escalator I see a bunch of women running around in their underwear and every one was screaming. I don't mean like when there are a lot of people talking so you have to scream so people can hear you like at party or something. They were just screaming. not words...just screaming. Like at a Justin Bieber concert. Apparently there was a huge sale on wedding gowns and every time a girl found a dress she liked the whole staff had to scream at the top of their lungs. It was very surreal. I thought I was in a dream.

Oh here we are. So here is count em THREE photos for you. So lets do the run down. The top one are some shoes that an old lady was wearing at the train station. You would think a 13 year old boy. The middle photograph is a tree that I pass nearly every day and to be honest with you I would rather not see it as much. My life is becoming to stale. I should go rob a bank. And the last although pretty is a view I see ever day while crossing the Madison St. bridge to go to the train station. 

So I have been running nearly every day now. I sort of have a goal in mind to run a 5k. I guess that is a good goal I mean that is a pretty good distance. The thing is I used to run a 5k every weekend when I was in high school....now I am just an old fat man who can't fit into his old band tees. To bad I was never into Van Halen cuz then I could look like a middle age white man.

You get two today. or should I say TWODAY!!! hahaha im not funny...... at any rate. The top photograph is of the storm last night. I'm not sure if it hit where I live. The photograph just above is of the Woodstock square earlier today.  I can't say I am happy with these photos. They are not really anything special but I did run almost two miles today and I am not about to go out and take some photographs. I am so tired.

I wish this cat had lazer eyes. So I had a pretty nice weekend with the ol' Gee Eff. Drank maybe a little to much. prlly not going to do that for a while. Cats are so amazingly cool and weird at the same time and my allergies are starting to go away so I want to get one.

This is becoming a "why I hate the metra" blog. So I almost missed the train so I had to pay the $3 sur charge on top of the $7.50 to get on the train. If that didn't suck enough the guy got all pissy. Im sorry I have to give you extra money. Why does he care any way, It is more money for him or at least his boss.

I feel like I will never become a famous photographer from this blog if I keep blogging about any thing and everything except the photograph I post. I feel like photographers are only famous among other photographers and thats like a band playing to the other bands that are playing that show and that my friends is lame. trust me i did it a lot
