A B O U T M E

Alex Salamander Martinez

I was raised in a small rural town and later was accepted into Columbia College Chicago. I now study Photography there and I am working toward my BFA. I work for Chicago Public Schools and Colin Lyons Photography. 

This blog has been an adventure every day. I was never a fan of writing and have always thought I.. well.. sucked at it. I love the informality of blog writing that I believe makes my readers connect to me more easily.

I am learning a lot by doing this blog and  I now have a better understanding of the camera being and extension of my own body. There is at very least one moment in each day worth the click of the shutter.
