I think the lighting as well as the hand gesture shows the mood of depression. There may be some underlying themes of loss. This photograph is filled with emotion.

I actually hate shit like that. As an artist it may be wrong for me to say that when ever I hear an artist say stuff like that I can't help but think it is all an act. I'm not saying all the time. There are some amazing photographs and other artworks that do have some amazing symbolism but really when ever I hear some one talk about it I just think they are a douche bag. Thats right fuck you art school. make me owe you a bunch of money. I am also having doubts about this "job placement service" you claim to have.

Here is an other thing that has kinda been on my mind. I can't help but think the members of Anti-Flag are just acting to make money. I mean come on do you still have the same ideals as you did when you were 14. Even if they did want to change the world as much as they yell about it then they should prlly do something proactive and stop singing about it.
